JoanJetsetter.com Wins NATJA Gold Award

JoanJetsetter.com takes home top prize for online travel journalism

The annual North American Travel Journalist Association (NATJA) Awards recognizes journalists and photographers who strive for excellence in the travel space, and I'm floored that JoanJetsetter.com is taking home a NATJA Gold Award this year. We won first place in the online Special Focus Travel category for our augmented reality-meets-city-tour article, "St. Kitts for Pokémon Trainers."

The awards are given to select publications, travel journalists and photographers whose work was published in print and online media from September 2015 through August 2016. The competition, now in its 25th year, was judged by seasoned journalists, editors, photographers and public relations professionals with hundreds of years of combined experience.

While I also won four other NATJA Awards for freelance stories in the Cruise and Travel Trade categorie this year, I couldn't be happier about the win for JoanJetsetter.com.
