JoanJetsetter.com Wins Silver Award for Nontraditional Content

Could this be Proof that Nontraditional is what we do best?

A huge *thank you* to the Society of American Travel Writers, Western Chapter for recognizing JoanJetsetter.com in its recent Western Chapter Writing Awards competition. 😘We took home the Silver Award in the Nontraditional Category for our 360-degree video and article about slavery, history and tourism on St. Kitts.

According to Christine Loomis, the Western Chapter Chair, this year's competition was the biggest yet in terms of entrees. The University of Missouri Journalism School judges also noted that the overall quality of submissions was better than in any previous year.

That said, with this year's win, we join the ranks of the greats, including National Geographic Traveler, USAToday, BBC Travel and the San Francisco Chronicle. Time to do a happy dance!
