From nitro candy popcorn to fried cheese-stuffed pickles, here are LA County Fair's strangest foods

You do not go to a county fair to lose weight. Even if you've been diligent about your diet, it's hard not to let your curiosity get the better of you. Fried hot sauce...funnel cake burritos...Cookie Monster milky buns...um, what?

The food at the LA County Fair seems to get weirder each year, and Culture Trip wanted me and my friend Mindy Jones to capture it for a Facebook video series. On the hottest day of the year, we embarked on an eating frenzy through the fairgrounds and captured the good, the bad and the ugly. Some foods were tasty as hell while others, um, ended up in the garbage pail.

The LA County Fair is known for it's ridiculous eats like fried hot sauce and glazed donut chicken sandwiches covered in Fruity Pebbles. In this video, we try the fair's strangest foods (so you don't have to) and rank them on a five-star system. Buuuurp.
